Julie’s Birthday Gift Card Giveaway

Welcome to the birthday gift card giveaway for my friend Julie, from White Lights on Wednesday!

You can win $300 in gift cards in Julie's 31st birthday gift card giveaway!

I’m so excited and blessed to be able to help celebrate Julie’s 31st birthday with her. I love Julie for so many reasons! She’s an incredible blogger and a talented web designer, but more than that, she’s an amazing friend with a heart of gold. When I announced that Brian and I were engaged to be married, Julie stepped forward with our friend Kelley to organize and co-host a huge surprise virtual wedding shower for me.

In honor of Julie’s birthday, I made a batch of kiwano orange ice cream! I’ll share that recipe with you all tomorrow, so please stop back to check it out. Or better yet, use this form to give me permission to send my recipes straight to your email inbox. Trust me, this is some seriously delicious ice cream. Take a look!

I know this is boring…but I really enjoy a good, moist vanilla cake with a regular old icing, or buttercream icing. yum!

I’m a Georgia girl with a July birthday so I’ve always loved a warm peach cobbler with vanilla bean ice cream!

  5. Melanie Morin says

My favorite birthday cake is the devil’s food cake my mom used to make every year for my birthday when I was growing up.

I love, love. love “Carrot Cake” loaded with pineapple, raisins and nuts, frosted with “Cream Cheese” frosting. Although I must admit some of the bloggers I follow post some unbelievable chocolate cakes filled with a chocolate filling and topped with Ganache! OMG, and I’m a diabetic! What IS a girl to do?

  7. Maggie Wallace says

I love french vanilla cake with strawberry jam in the middle, topped with dark chocolate frosting!

I have the tastes of a 7 year old. I like yellow box cake with milk chocolate tub frosting. Pretty much everything else I bake/make from scratch, but there is just something about box cake mixes. :-)
