Raspberry Vanilla Vinaigrette Dressing Recipe
This raspberry vanilla vinaigrette dressing recipe makes a sweet and tangy contribution to a boring salad, giving it a pop of color and fresh flavor. This recipe is part of the vanilla week celebration.
I hope you’ve been enjoying the great recipes this week. There have been some amazing ones, that’s for sure. This salad dressing is no exception.
I started off the week sharing a slow cooker cinnamon roll casserole recipe. It’s been a huge hit on Pinterest!
For today’s vinaigrette dressing recipe, I used a couple of fantastic ingredients.
I wanted to put focus on the vanilla, of course. Duh… it’s vanilla week. 😉
This time, I used the Tahitian vanilla that Nielsen-Massey Vanillas sent to me. I also wanted to give the dressing a sassy touch of sweetness, so I decided to add a bit of the sugar from the good peeps at Dixie Crystals.
Adding fresh raspberries gave this dressing a gorgeous color, and the flavor is out of this world. It was great on a simple garden salad, but I think it would be fabulous drizzled over grilled chicken or pork, too!
I hope you enjoy this raspberry vanilla vinaigrette dressing!

I hope it becomes a family favorite, Kirsten! It’s definitely a favorite of ours.
This dressing looks so light and bright. A perfect summer staple!
we are all about salads right now, big entree salads paired with an ice cold wine – it’s been in the high 90’s here in Portland. I cannot wait to try this dressing – so simple, great flavors!
I completely get where you’re coming from, Kristina. Cold salads and frosty cold beverages have been our meals of choice for the past week. It can cool down any day now! I hope you enjoy this vinaigrette dressing recipe. It’s really refreshing.
Looks delicious, looking forward to trying this soon!
Mmmm raspberries and vanilla! 🙂 I could see this on some pumpkin… That just sounds good to me for some reason!
Great idea, Gigi!
I love salad dressings like this. They go so well when you have a salad with some toasted nuts, a salty cheese and a grilled protein like chicken. I am making this dressing for my next salad – or several salads. I have a feeling this will be my new favorite dressing.
Oops, had my email misspelled on my previous comment….homemade ice cream and creme brulee are favorite vanilla treats of mine. This vinaigrette sounds delish!
Sounds fabulous, Mary!
This might be the prettiest vinaigrette I’ve ever seen and it sounds delish.
Really neat idea adding vanilla to a vinaigrette. I’m sure it tasted as incredible as it looks! Thanks Bec!
It really was a delicious vinaigrette, Terri. Gotta love that vanilla is so awesome in both sweet and savory dishes! Now I’m off to drool over your doughnuts 🙂
I’m picturing this vinaigrette paired with some toasted pecans and perhaps some gorgonzola on a nice fresh salad. And I’m picturing me enjoying it a lot. Do you bottle and ship? Because I’d like to place an order for 6 dozen bottles. Thanks!
Ohmigerd, Dave… your pecan and gorgonzola idea just blew me straight into brunch mode! It sounds like a fabulous pairing! I drizzled some over a beet and arugula salad with some feta last night and it was delicious. Sweet, salty, tangy… my taste buds went crazy! Maybe I should place a call to the professionals over at Shark Tank and bottle this goodness up! 🙂
