Recipes using long shelf life foods or are freezer friendly ingredients

With the current situation going on in the world and our city currently getting worse with infections and on the verge of a pandemic (within another week or so is my guess) we are beginning to look at what is in our pantry and ingredients we want to make sure we have enough of in case we have to go into lockdown and hunker down to wait it out.

I’m guessing that more people are starting to do the same. So I’ve put together a list for us and the best part is that many of these ingredients used in the following recipes have long shelf lives and/or are freezer friendly.

We go through each recipe and how you can prep it to be ready in case you’ve got to hunker down and wait it out. Here is what we’ve got on the agenda for our dinners.

If you like this and want a list for breakfast, lunches and snacks I’m happy to put together a list for those too.
